A threat actor has purportedly disclosed the database of the Faculty of Exact, Physical, and Natural Sciences of the National University of Cordoba, Argentina (UNC).

According to the claims made by the threat actor, over 8,840 assorted personal records belonging to both teachers and students have been exposed. Notably, a significant portion of the leaked emails are of personal nature rather than being affiliated with the university.

The leaked database is reported to be approximately 2.2MB in size, containing a variety of personal information fields, including “DNI” (national identification number), “Name,” “Physical address,” “E-mail,” “Date of birth,” “Library,” “Category,” “Expires on,” “Checkouts,” “Fines,” and “Notes.”

The disclosure raises concerns over potential privacy breaches and underscores the importance of robust cybersecurity measures within academic institutions.
