Recently, the hacker group 𝐒𝐍_ ππ‹π€π‚πŠπŒπ„π“π€ claimed responsibility for conducting large-scale DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks on various companies operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The group made statements on social media and various platforms detailing the targeted companies and the extent of the disruptions caused by their attacks.

Since the attack began, more than six major domains and a branch service center of Etisalat have been disrupted, including the main websites and APIs of the telecommunications company. The group claimed that their destructive attack on Etisalat’s network providers and ISPs has been confirmed by Cloudflare Radar.

In their announcement, the group stated:

πŸ”₯Target Down | Ω‡Ψ¬ΩˆΩ… ΨΉΩ„Ω‰ Ψ΄Ψ±ΩƒΨ© Ψ§Ω„Ψ§ΨͺΨ΅Ψ§Ω„Ψ§Ψͺ Ψ§Ω„Ψ₯Ω…Ψ§Ψ±Ψ§Ψͺ πŸ”΄https://www.etisalat.ae
Below are the affected targets from our attack on Etisalat. Everything, including the CMS, login pages, support pages, and especially the application, is completely offline.”

The affected domains from the attack on Etisalat include:

  • ❌ “cms.etisalat.ae”
  • ❌ “support.etisalat.ae”
  • ❌ “www.etisalat.ae”
  • ❌ “www.support.etisalat.ae”

Additionally, the group claimed to have targeted several other significant organizations in the UAE, disabling their systems. These organizations include:

  • UAE PASS
  • Dubai Islamic Bank
  • First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)
  • WAM
  • Zayed International Airport
  • Dubai Electric & Water Authority (DEWA)

The group’s leader, “Darkmeta,” made the following statements:

“The attacks that have been carried out are nothing but the beginning β€” merely the tip of the iceberg compared to our true power. We successfully targeted and disabled more than five organizations in under a week’s time. Our actions speak louder than words, and we will continue to challenge and expose any injustice we encounter. This is only the beginning of our mission to hold accountable those who oppose our cause.”

These claims by the 𝐒𝐍_ ππ‹π€π‚πŠπŒπ„π“π€ group highlight a significant cybersecurity threat, though they remain allegations at this stage. The targeted companies are likely working to assess and mitigate the damage caused by these attacks.
