In a recent post on a dark web forum, a threat actor has claimed to have breached the database of Bharat Petroleum’s gas delivery service. The alleged breach reportedly contains 592 CSV tables, totaling 143 gigabytes of sensitive customer information. The database includes personal data such as phone numbers, names, delivery addresses, and additional details related to orders, payments, and deliveries.

The threat actor asserts that the main table of orders holds 148 million rows of personal data, of which 21 million are unique entries without duplicates. Other information reportedly compromised includes consumer logs with 11 million rows and data on delivery personnel, consisting of 49,000 records.

According to the forum post, the breach occurred on September 3, 2024. The threat actor is offering the entire dataset for sale at $1,500, with the condition that it will be sold to a single buyer. The sale includes an escrow option to ensure the transaction’s security.
